James Ray-Ray Shockley, age 62, of Pell City, AL passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Glena Shockley; sisters, Gail McDonald and Lorenda Reynolds; brothers, Johnny Shockley and William Ray Shockley.
Ray Ray is survived by his wife of 22 years, Elaine Shockley; son, Justin Shockley (Lauren), daughters, Tracie Whitt, Malynda Stitcher (Homer), Shelley Hastings (Kent); grandchildren, Jamie Shockley (Krystle), Shelby Shockley (Nila), Adam Stitcher (Madie), Amanda Shockley and James Shockley; great grandchildren, Addalyn and Jackson Shockley, Ella, Laney, Sypress and Memphis Shockley; sisters, Rena Douglas (John), Shena Ashworth (Patrick) and Linda Shockley; brother, Jerry "BoBo" Shockley as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Lawley's Chapel Cemetery.
