He was preceded in death by his son, Greg Sims, father, Howard Sims and mother, Helen Sims. Mr. Sims retired in 1990 after 30 years as an X-ray and Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Anniston.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Bradford Sims, sons, Ty Sims, Brad Sims, chosen sons, Brandon McCombs, Adam McCombs, sisters, Brenda Cross, Anita Connell, brothers, Larry Sims, Rick Sims, grandchildren, Ashley Poellnitz, Nikki Sims, Luke Nicodemus, Kevin Nicodemus, T. J. Sims and great grandchild, Camden Nicodemus.
The family will receive friends at 1 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Sulphur Springs Church.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Sulphur Springs Church with burial at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
