Jeffrey Brasher

Brasher, Jeff, 63 of Odenville, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Brasher. Mr. Brasher is survived by his wife, Lisa Sims Brasher, sons, Brandon Brasher (Tracie) and Derrick Brasher (Cayla), his grandchildren, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Grey, Rowan, Finley, and Neely, his father, Billy D. Brasher, his brother Terry Brasher (Teresa) and his sisters Teresa Cohen (David) and Lisa Reaves (Greg). Mr. Brasher was a graduate of St. Clair County High School in 1976. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Odenville. He was married to the love of his life Lisa for 43 years and they shared a wonderful life together. He was the perfect example of what a father should be. He loved the Lord and knew Jesus Christ as his savior and he instilled that in the raising of his family. He was the happiest spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart and enjoyed teaching them everything he knew. He was able to fulfill his dream of owning his own utility construction business that he shared with his son Derrick. He was a true outdoorsman. His passion was hunting and fishing and he loved sharing this passion with his family and friends. He was a man of unwavering courage and character, he was kind but strong. He was a man’s man. He leaves a legacy that will remain with all who loved him. There will be a visitation for Mr. Brasher on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church in Odenville, Alabama from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM also at Calvary Baptist Church in Odenville, Alabama. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Trussville, Alabama. Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road, Leeds, AL 35094 will be directing the services.
