He was an amazing man. I had known him since I met my husband. He married my husband and I. We love you uncle Jerry.

So sorry to hear about Brother Jerry's passing. He was a very blessed man of God. He is singing out loud in Heaven now. Love yall Mrs. Martha and praying for you. I know what you are going through because I lost Mrs. Judy back in October of last year.

Words cannot express the joy and blessing Jerry was to Stanley and myself. He was always smiling, enjoyed being with people, singing and witnessing for his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We will definitely miss Brother Jerry, but know that he is Home.  See you one day soon Jerry, just keep singing and praising the King of kings.

Brother Jerry Spurgeon was a good, honest, kind hearted man. Everyone who knew him, loved him. I was honored to serve with him when I was Sheriff. I will miss him. My prayers are with Mrs. Martha Spurgeon, and the family. It was a blessing to know Brother Jerry Spurgeon.

Mr. Spurgeon drove our son's bus.  He was truly a blessing and a sweet, sweet man.  Prayers for your entire family.

God bless the Spurgeon family. Bro.Jerry is truly gonna be missed. He was always smiling. He was loved by everyone. He was always cutting up and saying something to make you smile. He was a good man and good christian and i love to hear them sing.

I met Jerry and Martha when we moved in Ann apartments in the 70's. I remember Jerry and Martha came to our apartment and gave my mom a coke and welcomed us to the neighborhood. I was 7 then and i am 55 now so been knowing them a long time. Jerry was always smiling and cutting up. He has always been a God fearing christian man. He has been a blessing to me all the years  i have known him. Him and Martha have always been very special people in my life. I always looked up to them for the stand they took for serving the Lord. You don't find many christians like them now days. They are  real true blue christians and a great blessing to me. Love you Martha and Jerry. See you on the other side Bro. Jerry. Meet you on heaven's bright shore. Its gonna be a wonderful day when we all get to be together again in heaven with our loved ones.  Gonna miss you Bro. Jerry. I loved to hear you sing.
