Jessica Hope Mize

Our precious angel was taken from us on April 2, 2011 so suddenly and without warning she was ripped from our arms. She is now in heaven with her poppy and Nanny Wright which she missed so much. She loved singing in the choir at church for so many years with Brother Jerald McFarland who she loved so much. She is now singing in the heavenly choir under the direction of Jesus. She loved playing Moody Miracle League and now she will be showing and telling all of heaven how to do it right with Dr. Bill Bryant.

She is survived by her parents; Ronnie & Elaine Mize & Michelle Stewart. Her grandparents; Larry & Alice Cook, Frank & Margaret Little. Great grandparents; Geneva Holliday & Iris Cook. Brother; Rob Cook, the apple of her eye. Several aunts, uncles and cousins and also little Eli which she couldn’t stay to meet. Her Miracle League Family and so many special friends.

We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Prescott Atkinson and staff, who have treated and loved her so unconditionally for so many years and also to Jerald McFarland and Randy Jones, who she so dearly loved and so many times during treatments and surgeries they were always there for her to make her smile and to pray with her. Moody Miracle League for all the love and devotion they have always shown toward her. She so loved playing with them. Southlake Orthopedic doctors and staff who have always loved her, Dr. Blum thank you so much for the love you always showed to her, she loved you so much.

Arrangements will be visitation on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Services will be on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Moody Miracle League.
