Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Zoila Rosa Rodriguez, parents, Jose Joaquin Rodriguez, Natalia Diaz Piloto, brothers, Roberto, Rene, Jose M., and sister, Zoila. Mr. Rodriguez graduated from the University of Havana with a law degree, he was a dedicated educator.
He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Isabel Baren (Dr. Peter Baren), Dr. Mercedes DeWitt, sister, Raquel Rodriguez, brother, Rolando Rodriguez, grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole and Theresa.
Funeral Mass will be held, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood, AL.
