

Judy Ann Ash Rawlings, age 80, of Moody, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. Born on April 23, 1946, Judy lived a life marked by love, devotion to family, and a caring spirit that touched all who knew her.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Edith Ash; her sisters, Helen Ivy, Dorothy Brill, Betty Champion, and Lois Holbert; and her brothers, Robert Ash and Freddie Ash.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, John Rawlings; her sons, Shane Harris (Sheila), and Dennis Harris (Kris); six cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hendrix (John), Caleb Harris (Cassidy), Adrianne Marcrum (Kyle), Amber Harris, Allison Deitz (Dallon), and Colton Harris; and six great-grandchildren (with another on the way), and don’t forget her loving dog Fancy, all of whom brought tremendous joy to her life.
Judy spent many years working as a cosmetologist, building lasting friendships with her clients through her kindness and warm personality. She went on to work at Brinks and The Red Diamond Coffee Company for many years. She ended her working career as the office manager at Ron’s Automotive, where her dedication and strong work ethic were greatly valued.
Above all, Judy treasured time with her family. She loved camping, relaxing at the beach, and creating precious memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love, laughter, and gentle presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Judy’s life will be held on June 16, 2026, at Church of the Highlands, Grants Mill Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Though her earthly journey has ended, her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
