Judy went to meet her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2025, at the age of 83 years old. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Judy is survived by her 3 children – Sonja, Leigh Ann, Scott (Lynn); 5 grandchildren – Jonathan, Jay (Jeanne), Blake (Chelsea), Aundrea (Dustin), Zack; 8 great-grandchildren – Cooper, Harper, Parker, Hudson, Layni, Fisher, Finley, Ada; Sister-In-Law – Jo Ann Castleberry; Nieces/Nephews – Steven Smith (Bonita), Darryl Castleberry (Christy), Mike Castleberry (Patty), Janise Mynatt (Harry), along with numerous Aunts and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bill Castleberry; Parents – Horace and Marvene Lovell; In-Laws – Earl and Berniece Castleberry; Sister-In-Law – Reggie Smith; Brother-In-Laws – Willard Smith, Gene Castleberry; Son-In-Law – Steve Watts.
Judy dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She worked for many years as a substitute teacher for Pell City Schools, Alabama Sheriffs Boys Ranch, Schreiber Corporation and retired from EBSCO Industries.

A family graveside service for Mrs. Castleberry will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 beginning at 11:00 AM at Cook Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
