She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Frances Carmack Hairston and uncle Matthew Clanton.
She is survived by her father Charles Clanton (Beth), and mother Cheri Clanton; grandparents, Fred & Kathryn Clanton, James & Martha Baggett; aunts, Donna Williamson (Donald Norwood), Sherri “ReRe” Kirby (Billy).
Katie was a member of the 5678 Dance Studio family, and St. Theresa Catholic Church in Leeds. She attended Springville High School.
The family will receive friends at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 6PM.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 1PM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery. Katie will lie in state at St. Theresa’s one hour prior to the funeral mass.
