Kenneth W. Lind Sr.

Kenneth W. Lind, Sr. was a longtime resident and Golf Professional in the Birmingham area. He was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He began his golf career at a young age as a caddy at the famous Tam O’Shanter Golf Club. There his love and passion for golfing grew and he knew that this would be a career path for him. Kenny taught golf at many golf schools in Georgia, Vermont, Florida and Alabama.

Kenny also served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his twin boys who sadly lost their lives during the stages of pregnancy.

Kenny was a well of knowledge and loved to share his stories and history with anyone that would listen.

He leaves behind 2 sons; Kenneth Lind, Jr. (Jessica) and Christopher Lind (Stacie); 4 daughters, Sandra Watkins, Brenda Starnes, Laura Lind and Trelia Seals; 8 grandchildren, Joshua Todd Seals, Christopher Blake Lind, William Hunter Lind, Zachary Neal Lind, Vickie Elliot Reid, Jessica Mau, Rachel Mau, and Catherine Watkins as well as 2 great grandchildren, Emily Reid and Gavin Reid. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and tons of family and friends.

Praying that everyone knows, he leaves them much love and affection.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Branchville Cemetery.
