Larry Wayne Massey

Massey, Larry Wayne age 76, of Leeds, AL passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. He was a proud Papa to more than just his own. He spent his life working two jobs to provide for his family, one of which he retired from after 47 years. He was passionate about Alabama football, he loved to fish and hunt in his earlier years and always enjoyed a good Western movie every chance he got.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Henson Massey; daughters, Tracy Whitfield (Max) and Wendy Rich (Johnny); sister, Brenda Whitfield; grandchildren, Bailey Rogers (Ben), Kelsey D’Accardi (Nick), Shelby Whitfield (Sam), Kailey Rich, Karson Rich, Jalyn Miller, and Allison Miller; great grandchildren, Ellie Claire Rogers and Caroline D’Accardi as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Kendrick Cemetery in Dunnavant, AL .
