Leland Morris Banks, age 80 of Odenville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Mr. Banks served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War by doing one tour in France. He worked as a private pilot and machinist until his retirement. After retiring, he maintained a small business as a gunsmith. He is survived by his children, Anthony Morris Banks (Christi), Alisa Banks Ferris (Kerry), Vanessa Russell Banks, grandchildren, Adam Banks (Ashley), Breanna Banks, Jordan Len Pounders, great grandchildren, Brendan Anthony Banks and Alec Ryan Banks. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Liberty Cemetery in Odenville, Alabama beginning at 11:00 AM. Services directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Road, Leeds, Alabama.
