Linda Kay Stark, age 71, of Leeds, AL passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Stark; step granddaughters, Brittany Nelson and Ashley Cartier; uncle, Charles Howard. Linda was a longtime standing member of the Leeds American Legion, Post 107 and will be remembered for her love of horses.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Stark; step daughters, Teresa Smith, Tonja Winfrey, and Tammy Barnes; siblings, Steve Simmons, Sandy Irvin, Lori Scurlock, Deana Simmons and Kelly Kendrick as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 9:45AM until 10:30AM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 beginning at 10:30AM with a graveside service to held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL beginning at 12:30PM.
