Mrs. Moreland was formerly employed by General Electric in Oxford; Mira/Flex in Leeds and the St. Clair County High School Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Moreland; parents, Gordon and Virginia Bannister; brothers, Roy and Troy Bannister; sisters, Violet Smith and Nora Creek; half brothers, Billy Bannister and Jack Stewart.
She is survived by her son, James Scott Moreland (Elise McDaniel) of Riverside, AL; grandchildren, John Carter Moreland, Harris Virginia Moreland both of Riverside; Emily Smith Forsythe of Homewood and Travis Smith of Tuscaloosa; great grandchildren, John Michael Forsythe and William Forsythe.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds beginning at 11AM with Services to be held in the Chapel at 2PM and burial to follow at Branchville Cemetery.
