Mrs. Swindall was born in Rockford, AL. She received her bachelors degree in Education from Auburn University and her Masters degree from UAB. Mrs. Swindall taught in Goodwater for 34 years. She was a member of Goodwater Presbyterian Church for many years and a member of First Baptist Church of Leeds for the past 6 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Margie Swindall Crider, Lee Swindall West (Max Douglas), grandchildren, Crystal West Knickelbein, Lana West Crews, Bonnie West, great grandchildren, Gideon Alexander West Crews and Lucky Douglas West Crews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Leeds First Baptist Church with Services at 11:00 AM and burial at Brownville Cemetery at Hatchet Creek Presbyterian Church in Goodwater at 2:00 PM.
