Marguerite Elfer Rome of Leeds died on Monday March 16, 2026. Daughter of Nolan and Lena Elfer. Raised in Ensley and Fairfield, she retired from Alabama Power/Southern Company Services. She is survived by her husband Donald Rome, numerous cousins and special friends, Brandy Jewell. A visitation will be held on Friday March 20, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 AM from St. Teresa Catholic Church in Leeds, Alabama with a Mass to begin at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Hospital.
