Marie Clinkscales

Marie Clinkscales, age 81, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lamar Clinkscales; sister, Angela Star; brothers, Ronnie Champion, Eddie Champion, Sonny Champion and Curtis Champion; grandson, Allen Young; great-grandson, Hudson Lee Clinkscales. Marie is survived by her sons, Brian (Melinda) Keith Clinkscales and Kenneth (Lillie) Lamar Clinkscales; daughter, Virginia Marie (Glenn) Young; grandchildren, April Tuders, Christy Young, Savannah Clinkscales, Ashley Clinkscales, Johnathan Young, Olivia Clinkscales, and Justin Clinkscales; great-grandchildren, Corbin Sanders, Elijah Clinkscales, Ryan Raines and Erin Raines; brothers, David Champion, Bill Champion and Terry Champion; honorary grandson, Daniel Guess. A special host of family friends and cousins. To Marie the most important thing was her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent her whole life caring for children and others. A visitation will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 9, 2022 at 11:00AM from the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
