Marilyn Joan Capps

Marilyn Joan Capps, age 78, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Marilyn was born June 8, 1943. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Euverlia Ledbetter and Clarence Ledbetter and brother, James N. Roberts. Mrs. Capps was a graduate from Woodlawn High School, Class of 1961; she was employed at Medical Center East Hospital and Alabama Power Company. Marilyn was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist, Roebuck Baptist Park Baptist and most currently at Bethel Baptist Church in Moody.

She is survived by husband of 60 years, Thomas Edwin Capps; daughter, Kathy Capp (Laurie Burgess); son, Chris Capps (Alicia); grandchildren, Catelyn Capps and Cambree Capps and special kids, Chloe and Bailey Godsden. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
