I admired you so much, my beautiful niece. We still miss you here, but I've been seeing the beautiful pink sunsets you paint, even all the way in Nashville. Many hugs to you there, Sweet Girl. You changed the world and that continues. See you when I get to Heaven. We're going to dance. I love you, Aunt Amanda

Marissa was a huge inspiration for me at VSA Alabama....when I met her to work on an auction piece together I realized it was going to be a special day ...we worked quickly on a large painting and a beautiful Italian bride emerged....at the auction a lady was admiring it and when she saw the title of it bid on it and got it.....she gave it to her niece who was getting married....her niece cried and cried when she received it because it made her so happy....Marissa you did so many wonderful things....Mary Susan Lewis....VSA community artist and teacher
