I’m so sorry to hear this very sad news. Margie and Ricky took me in and raised me like their own child. Margie taught me a lot of things about being a mom. My mom left when I was only 11 and my dad remarried. So I went to live with Tina, Margie and Ricky. She taught me how to cook, clean and take care of a family. She also told me to never wear white after Labor Day. 😂 and as a adult I noticed women would and I always thought it wasn’t correct to do so. I ate my first egg sandwich 🥪 at her house and have been feeding them to my family for years. She was a awesome 👏 women

Mom, thanks for teaching me to always strive to be better. You taught me that no matter where you come from that doesn’t determine where you will go and that no matter how busy you are that you always have time for your children. You did that for Tina and I and I will never forget that example you set.

Thank you for always treating me like your daughter, not a daughter in law! I have so many wonderful memories of our “Mother-Daughter Days”, sometimes we did something big like going to Talladega, or even if it was just shopping or meeting for lunch-we always had a great time! You got your angel wings too soon-we were supposed to share so many more of these times and pass them down to my girls. We will all miss you so much. Love you mom! (aka Meemaw)

I will love you forever and always, mom. You were a strong woman who strived to do everything well. You were the one constant in my life. Through you, I learned to be driven, ethical, and how to love unconditionally. Those are just a few of the many things you taught me. Thank you for all you did for me.
I already miss our daily talks so we will now have those through prayer. You will remain in my heart and soul forever. I know you will continue to watch over me from heaven. I love you!
