Michael Deale

Michael Wayne Deale, age 53, of Moody, Alabama passed away on August 25, 2024 following an illness. Born on July 3, 1970 in Birmingham, Alabama. Michael was a Leukemia Survivor. His experience inspired him to pursue a career in nursing, dedicating his life to helping others as a registered nurse.

Michael graduated from Pinson Valley High School in 1988 and furthered his education and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing in 1996. Michael spent his career serving the community with compassion and dedication serving others the way others had served him.

He is survived by his parents, John and Elaine Deale of Moody, AL; his brother Jeff Deale (Harriette) of Moody; and his sister-aunt Carol Newton Franklin (Jody) of Moody.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home for family will be from 5:00PM until 6:00PM and friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 beginning at 10:00AM at Branchville Cemetery.
