Mrs. Whitfield was preceded in death by husband, Onsby Whitfield. She was a member at Leeds First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Bethune and Kathy Cunningham; son, James Whitfield, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
