I am so blessed to have been your friend! We always enjoyed talking about sports, politics, life and faith. I enjoyed every bit of it. Distance has been between us for years but we managed to stay in touch regularly. I look forward to seeing you again one day. I pray for peace and comfort for your family. Rest in peace, my friend!!!

Nick was such an important part of my life and my son Dan's life. We will miss him dearly. I look forward to seeing Nick in heaven someday and find comfort in knowing all the joy he brings other's today and everyday.

Seeing this today, saddens my heart, I should have kept in touch more. Nick being that huge bama fan and me a huge LSU fan, the arguments we had about football and schools. But knowing where his heart and passion was puts a smile on my face because I know he is talking Bear Bryant's ear off, and can see that smile on his face, from ear to ear.

Nelda and family, we did not know Nick personally, but are so very sorry for your loss. We will be thinking of you and have you in our prayers in the coming days.

We met Nick several years ago at an SEC Basketball Tourney (I believe it was in Tampa that year). He was sitting next to us at a restaurant and we struck up a conversation. He told us all about his love for the University of Alabama and showed us pictures of him and Nick Saban! We could relate to his passion since we are avid UK fans :). I connected with Nick on Facebook and always enjoyed his kind messages and a little razzing when our teams played each other. No matter what, Nick was always so very kind, thoughtful, and gracious. He is someone I will always remember.

Nick was a patient of mine at one time, he was the absolute sweetest guy ever! We connected on Facebook and I have followed him over the years! This breaks my heart, he was one of the smartest and funniest guys I have came across!! My heart goes out to the family...
