Mrs. Maxey was a life long resident of Leeds, AL and a charter member of Valley View Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Edward Maxey, Jr and son, Fred Edward Maxey III.
She is survived by her sons, Lynn Maxey (Sue) and David Maxey; grandchildren, Tamala Hillhouse (John), Alana Maxey, Stephanie Maxey, Will Maxey, Nate Maxey (Brett), and Nick Maxey; and great grandchildren, Emily and Suzanne Hillhouse; Henley, Vance, and Stanley Maxey.
A public graveside service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Bold Springs Cemetery at 11:00AM.
