Patricia C Standifer

Patricia Standifer passed away on July 2, 2023 after a brief illness. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Standifer, her grandson EJ Spence and her granddaughter Jaclyn Faircloth. She is survived by her children Karen Faircloth (Robert), Mike Spence, Eddie Spence, Kathy Wyse(Johnny) and Kristi Demos (Tony) and her grandchildren Tricia Dietz, Kassidy Forte (Doug), Kammi Perez, Robyn Peak (Hunter), Kellie Spence (Jamie), Jacob Strickland (Heidi), Michaela Crawford (Jon), Shelby Spence, Sean Denson (Ashley) and Evan Denson, 20 great grandchildren, her brother in law Ron Buehner, God daughter Debbie Gillingham and special friends Lisa Kyle and Jan Stone and the entire Creel Family. Pat was retired from UAB. She has been a lifelong member of “the right church” St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and was “very Catholic”. She was a member of the Legions of Mary, active in the Leeds Senior Citizens, past secretary of Knights of Columbus. Pat loved her home and anytime she went away she was always anxious to get back to her home. She Loved to shop and it didn’t matter what store. She loved people, being out and about and socializing. She also loved her dog Kozi and her deceased dog Kizzi. Services will be held on Thursday July 6, 2023 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church with visitation from 10:00-12:00 with Mass at 12:00 and burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
