Mr. Sims was a US Air Force Veterans having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sisters, Hilda Hill, Helen Canup (David), Pat Barros, brothers, Ron Sims (Barbara), Tony Sims, Emory Sims (Barbara), Steve Sims and Rick Sims (Cynthia).
Graveside Services are Monday, December 9, 2013 at 12:30 PM at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
