Peggy Gore

Peggy Ann Gore, age 89, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Earl Gore, her son, Daniel Earl Gore, her parents, Luther and Lillian Bethune, her brother James Bethune, her sister-in-law, Myra Bethune, her sister-in-law, Glenda Bethune, and her daughter-in-law, Pamel Jean Whisonant.

Peggy is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Whisonant, Sr. (Liz) and her daughters, Karen Ann Fulford (Keith), and Mary Pamela Gore; grandchildren, Brooke Patterson (David), Michael Whisonant, Jr. (Lindsey), Wesley McDougal (Alli), Bethany Gore, Kendra Guest (Trey), Kori Fulford, Konnor Fulford; great grandchildren, Henry Patterson, Grant Patterson, Grace Patterson, Scarlett Guess, Michael Whisonant, III, Bently Guest, and Finley Whisonant; brother, Bobby Bethune.

Peggy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leeds.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12th, 2024 at Kilgore Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama. A funeral service will be at Kilgore Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m.
