Jones, Renee Jean Clary, age 55, of Leeds, Al (Formerly of Oswego, NY) , went to be with her beloved Lord on September 9, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Renee treasured her family and will be dearly missed, though only for a little while. She loved the cottage on Lay Lake that she and Brad enjoyed for a great number of years, spoiling the young ones, NCAA football and all holidays decorating to the hilt. She attracted and was blessed by hundreds of friends through business and life.

Renee was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Clary (Clark). She is survived by her son, Eric Jones; her father, Gerald (Jerry) Clary (and Pamela); her brother, Christopher (Chris) Clary; her sisters, Brenda Clary and Nadine Atkins; five nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and nephews and over twenty years together with Bradley (Brad) Heddleston (significant).

There will be a memorial service on Sunday September 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Road, Leeds, AL 35094.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the UAB Cancer Center.

Renee lived her life as a true friend to so many people. We worked together for the most part of 33 years. I knew her before Eric was born and saw what she went through during her pregnancy. He is a miracle child and she lived for him from the day he was born. She was a friend in good times and bad, not judgemental and always understanding. She will be missed in this world and I am sure she was greeted with joy in the next one! I love you Girl!

Renee, I've been here your last couple of yrs through your battle, through the good days and the horrible painstaking days, but you ALWAYS stayed upbeat even when I was down. You had more strength than I ever could and I will always look up to you for that. Now your on your Journey that you've been hoping and praying for and you don't have to feel anymore pain ever again. I'll always remember all these last days good&bad and will miss you eternally. Rest in peace my Sis, I Love You, Nadine
