Roland Johns will always hold a special place in my heart. He always always had a big smile and and a genuine hug for me every time our paths crossed. He was the one called on to lead us in prayer and the blessing at family gatherings. You could always see in his face and presence the special bond and relationship he had with our Heavenly Father. This world needs more Roland Johns'. He will be sorely missed!!!

God be with you and bless you Faye. I love you and am proud to share your name. God bless you and hold you and comfort all of Roland's family and friends.

Roland was my father, in every sense of the word. He helped raise me and my brother. He married my Mama. He brought us all together as a family. When we were at our lowest, my Mama and Roland found each other, and it was love at first sight. Roland was the best thing that ever happened to us. I love him so much. And I already miss him dearly. He and I may not have had much in common, and there were times we disagreed on things, but that never stopped me from loving him and caring for him. He made me feel safe, at a time when I needed it the most. He was the most loving man I have ever known. And he loved his family, our big beautiful family, more than anything on this earth. I love you Roland, always and forever.
