Mr. Whitehead was Worship Leader at Bethel Baptist Church in Moody for 11 years. He established Celebrate Recovery at Bethel Baptist Church and Restoration in Pell City, ministered at The Lovelady Center in Birmingham and was Co-Owner of M & R Pipe & Supply which began in 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Hagood Whitehead, son, Cody Whitehead, Jamie Foster whom he loved like a daughter, parents, Richard and Ann Whitehead, sister, Sherry Whitehead Tews (Aaron), brothers, Ron Whitehead and Mark Whitehead (Sherri), 6 nieces, 3 nephews and 1 great niece.
Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church from 5:30PM until 7PM with Service to begin at 7PM.
Family Graveside Service will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2PM at Branchville Cemetery.
