Robert Roy Jones, of Moody, Al, was born on April 19, 1949, and passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76. Originally from Coffeyville, Kansas, he is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Wayne Jones (Waymeta) and John Jones (Jackie), and sister, Lynne Vandermark (DeWayne). Rob is survived by his wife of 21 years Phyllis Thompson Jones; sons: Jason Jones (Alice) and Aaron Jones; daughter, Hope Cook (Ricky); grandchildren: Trevor Jones, Savannah Jones, Colin Jones, Emily Cook, and Jace Cook (Ali); sister in law Terri Albright (Wade); niece, Shana Dotson (Dewayne); and nephew, Tony Jones (Annie).
Memorial Services will be held Saturday October 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds. Visitation will be Saturday October 11, 2025, at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds from 12-1
The family has requested, for those attending the service and visitation, to dress in a casual manor.
