Roy "Vern" Davis

Roy “Vern” Davis, age 60 of Irondale, AL passed away October 27, 2011. Mr. Davis worked at B & D Electric Motors for 15 years, Waites Electric for 13 years and loved dirt track racing. He was the Co Crew Chief of the #00 Racing Team. He attended Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church and Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy. He is survived by his daughter, Lora Howard (Shane), son, David Davis (Heather), parents, James and Bernice Davis, sisters, Venita Wideman, Jamie Trussel, brother, Larry Davis, grandchildren, Summer Howard, Daniel Howard, Adrianna Howard, Noah Davis and Dawson Davis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Union Hill Cemetery in Vandiver.
