Mrs. Lowry was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Luther Lowry, and son, Richard E. Lowry.
She is survived by her children: Len (Jean) Lowry of Moody; Malena (Mike) Charles of Trussville; grandchildren: Heather Lowry Dillon of Birmingham; Courtney (Brad) Patterson of Hoover; Brent (Stephanie) Lowry of Odenville; Blayne (Meg) Lowry of Odenville; Zachary, Luke and Machaela Charles of Trussville; great-grandchildren: Katie and Madison Dillon; Summer Patterson; Ashton Lowry; and Cole Lowry.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Bessemer.
