Shirlene Mitchell passed on September 22, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on December 26, 1951, Shirlene lived in Birmingham, Alabama. Shirlene is preceded in death by her husband, Denis Mitchell; parents, Deal and Ola Mae Stewart; sister, Sandra King; brother, Johnny Stewart. Shirlene is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Brandon) Pybus and Stephanie (James) Yarbrough; grandchildren, Jamilynn, Josiah, Justus, Colton, Journie, and Waylon; sister, Sharon Russell. A Visitation will be held on Sunday September 27, 2026 from 1:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:00 PM.
