Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his son, Stewart Sims and daughter, Loretta Sims.
He was known as Pappy the Peanut Man at Brompton and was well loved by family and the community.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sims; daughters, Angel Wallace, Kristina Sims; sons, Frank Jenkins, Jamey Jenkins, Robby Jenkins, Bradley Sims, Tyler Sims, sister, Joan Gentry; grandchildren, April, Lindsay, Robin, Kristin, Jessica, Mellisa; great grandchildren, Gavin, Mya, Stormy, Brandon, Gabbie, Ashton, Gracie, Carson, Aaron, Annabella, Landon and Brooklyn; Niece, Terene.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Monday, January 30, 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 31, 2013 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
