Stuart Douglass III

Stuart Allen Douglass, III went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2022. He was born in Birmingham, AL on September 4, 1977. Stuart was a friend to everyone he met. He made a point to keep in touch with friends, old and new. He was incredibly generous, always willing to lend a hand to others in need. He was an adventurer and loved being outdoors. Stuart was a fighter, too, working hard to overcome adversity for himself and others who needed him. Stuart leaves behind a legacy of compassion, gratitude, and love.

Stuart was proceeded in death by his father, Stuart A. Douglass, Jr and step-father Conrad Watkins. He is survived by his mother Linda (York) Watkins, sister Abby George, step-siblings Brandon George, Jessica George, Ashely Watkins, nieces Haylee and Unique, nephew Ja’Q, and grandmother Betty Smith. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss him tremendously and who he loved fiercely. Services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL), Visitation at 1pm with service to begin at 2pm.
