Ted Franklin Mills

On August 4, 2016, Ted F. Mills went to be with our Lord. He passed away peacefully with family at his side. Ted was a veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean War, while serving in Europe. He was a graduate of The University of Alabama. He went on to own and operate an accounting firm with several other small businesses. He was a member of the Shriners. Ted was a long time resident of Tarrant City, Forest Park, Pell City and most recently Ashville, Alabama where he was a member of Odenville United Methodist Church. There he enjoyed teaching men’s Sunday School Class. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Inez Mills and his son, Ronald Mills.

He is survived by his children, Carol (Jeff) Butler, Pamela (Murphy) Seale, Michael (Betty) Mills and Kathy Mills; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2PM until 4PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be held at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11AM with burial at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Talladega.
