Mr. Mizzell was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Mizzell and sister, Teresa Turney.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Mizzell, sons, Michael Jason Mizzell (Angela) and Tyler Mizzell, mother, Flossie Mizzell, sisters, Alice Barber, Rosealee Ash, brothers, Freddie Mizzell, Richard Mizzell and grandson, Jackson Mizzell.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM from Ebenezer United Methodist Church with burial at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery in Odenville.
