Thomas C. Moore

Thomas Clifton Moore, 100, journeyed to heaven on Sunday Oct 24, 2021. Mr. Moore was born in the community of Moody Cross Roads, now known as Moody, Alabama on December 31, 1920 to Thomas Franklin Moore and Addie Moody Moore. Mr. Moore was a Navy WW ll veteran and a member of the “Greatest Generation”. Mr. Moore was also a member of the Moody Masonic Lodge #592 for 79 years. He was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, friend, man of faith and mentor.

Funeral services will be in the chapel of the Kilgroe Funeral Home of Leeds, Alabama on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Visitation and viewing will be from 1:00 until 2:00 and the memorial service at 2:00. Interment will be in Moody, Alabama at Moody Cemetery.

Mr. Moore was married to Mavis Frances Brown Moore for 72 years. Mr. Moore is survived by a daughter, Hollace Lorraine Krudop (James) of Andalusia, AL and Alex R. Moore of Langston, AL; three grandchildren, Ashley Frances Krudop Powell (Kyle) of Auburn, AL, Hadyn Lorraine Krudop Swecker (Bart) of Clemson, South Carolina, Chandler Thomas Moore of Hawaii; five great-grandchildren, Sara Frances Powell, Foster Deas Powell, Adeline Lorraine Powell, Clifton James Swecker, and Oliver Johnson Swecker.

Pallbearers will be Alex Moore, Chandler Moore, Kyle Powell, Foster Powell, Bart Swecker, Clifton Swecker, Wayne Veasey and Dennis Russell.
