Walter Dub A Foster Jr.

Dub was a World War II Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre. He retired from Lehigh Cement.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sue Pearson Foster; daughter, Pamela Leachman and granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson Reiber.

He is survived by his daughter, Tandra (Michael) Johnson; grandchildren: Matthew Leachman and Leslie (Jeff) Brown; great grandchildren: Shareen, Marlee and Phobee Brown; sister, Glenda Wesley and her family; special friend, Georgia Whitfield; coffee drinking buddies at Bancorpsouth and Covenant Bank; a host of friends that shared his fishing and automobile interests.

Visitation will be at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held there on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM.

He will be laid to rest at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale.

Dear Friends, Dub’s last days were blessed by your love, prayers, calls, visits, acts of kindness, and friendship.
