Wanda Ann Packer Everette, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, daughter, mother, and Nana, was born on April 26, 1944, and went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2025. Wanda was an incredible woman whose fierce love for her family left a profound impact on all who knew her.
She cherished every moment spent outdoors, finding joy in cooking with her grandchildren and nurturing her beautiful garden, where she delighted in watching the flowers bloom. Wanda was an avid fan of "General Hospital" and "Days of Our Lives," rarely missing an episode.
Wanda's greatest accomplishment was the beautiful legacy she created through her compassion, strength, and love. She taught her grandchildren the importance of caring for others, living through hardships with resilience, and demonstrating love in every action. Her tenacity and determination exemplified patience in a way that inspired everyone around her.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ruth Tillery Packer; her sisters, Linda Klyce, Gail Bolton, Faye Bakatsas, and Norma Hood; her husband, Roger "Speedy" Everette; her son Timothy Morgan; her daughter Cynthia Everette Parvin; her niece Kay Bakatsas; and her grandson Joshua Langham.
She is survived by her brother Rick Packer (Jennifer); her partner and wonderful friend, Don Oden; her sons Donnie Morgan and Kevin Morgan (Connie); her daughter Sharon Thompson (Kirk); her granddaughters Kelsey Saranthus (Gerald), Bonnie Thompson (Cody), Caitlynn Parvin (Dalton), Cidney Parvin, and Roni Morgan; as well as her great-grandchildren Mordecai Thompson, Lucas Saranthus, Brynlee Brown, Ayden Saranthus, and Addison Saranthus, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Wanda may have left this earth, but her spirit and love will forever live on in the lives she touched. As her grandchildren often joked, she was the type of grandmother who would help hide a body if needed and then pretend to forget about it. That unwavering love will resonate through generations to come.
