She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude E Hassett and her parents Marvin and Mae Lawson.
She is survived by 2 children, her daughter, Robin L Bruce her husband, Steven Bruce of Mobile, AL and her son, Mark E Hassett and his wife, Sandra Hassett, of Hoover, AL; 6 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM. Until 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 23rd at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, February 24th at 3:00 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
