Mr. Armstrong is survived by his wife, Faye Armstrong; sons, David Armstrong, Michael Dewayne Armstrong, Samuel Lewis Weatherspoon; daughters, Donna, Tracy Darlene Brown, Debbie Lynn McCurry; sister, Jessica Ann Pinkard; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
