Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mary Jones. He retired from U. S. Steel Tin Mill Metallurgical Department in 1982. Mr. Jones enjoyed his family, neighbors and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Seretha Busbee, Malia Rogers (Ed), sisters, Eunice Sanford (Doyle), Eolin Snyder (Joe), brothers, Theran Jones (Polly), Don Jones (Doris), grandchildren, Tonya Arant (Dennis), Amanda Quiles (Justy), Stephanie Rogers-Berning (Jimmy), Jeremy Rogers, 9 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
