Farley Calhoun

Mr. Farley Quinton Calhoun, 80, of Leesville, LA passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was born on March 26, 1936 to Farley Calhoun and L’Nora Goldman Calhoun in Vernon Parish, LA. Mr. Calhoun had lived in Vernon Parish since 1998. Mr. Calhoun was a Sheriff’s Deputy with the VPSO. He was devoted to the care of his wife. He was service oriented and loved helping people. You could always depend on Mr. Calhoun to help friends and neighbors get to the doctor. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Mr. Calhoun was preceded in death by his parents, Farley Calhoun and L’Nora Goldman Calhoun; one brother, Ronald Dale Calhoun.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jessie Eddlemon Calhoun and one daughter, Denise Calhoun and husband, Bert Woodall.

Services will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville, LA. Brother George Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
