Florence Hillman Johnson

Florence Hillman Johnson, 75, of Mora, Louisiana passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in her residence. She was born on May 11, 1940 to David and Leodie Hillman in Mora, LA. She was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Ms. Johnson loved to fish, and was a homemaker, who liked cooking, flowers, camping and the outdoors.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Harless Johnson; parents, David and Leodie Hillman, and one son, James Harlis Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Jerry Lee Johnson; one daughter, Mary Ann Johnson (Bolvargas Garcia); four grandchildren, Crystal Johnson, Rolaind Johnson, Shannon Johnson, and Casondra Moulton Johnson; five great – grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Mora, LA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Mora, LA. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
