Survivors include: His mother, Leona Walsh of Florien; Sons: Jerry Barker Hale Jr. and wife Jessica of Pasadena, TX, Joe Hale of Houston, Tx and Richard Hale and wife Keva of Anacoco, LA; Daughters; Tawnya Petty and husband Richard of Florien, LA and Dawn Lewis and husband Jerry of Anacoco, LA.; Brothers, James Richard Hale of Deer Park, TX, Wesley Hale (Belinda) Anacoco, LA; Sister, Anna Hale (Calaway) Anacoco, LA; Grandchildren: Thomas Hale, Tanner Hale, Patience Hale, Everette Hale, Natisha Simmons, Kourtney Lewis, Justin Massey, Skip Weathers, Cory Lyons, Kristin Hale, Jenna Hale, Thomas James Hale, and Amber Hale; and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Pansy Ruth Hale, Father James Walter Hale; Brother, William Thomas Hale and Sister-in-law, Randi Hale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Pisgah Baptist Church of Florien, LA beginning at 5:00 p.m and will continue through Friday, April 1, 2011 until service time on Saturday, April 2, 2011. Funeral Service will start at 2:00 p.m at the Pisgah Baptist Church, with Rev. Buddy Airhart officiating. Burial will follow at the Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA.
