Mary C. Perkins

Mary Casciel Perkins, 51, Leesville, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in her residence. Casciel was born on June 11, 1964 in DeRidder, LA to Almon and Erma Johnson of Leesville, LA. She was a lifelong resident of Vernon parish and of the Baptist faith. Casciel enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Casciel was preceded in death by her parents Almon and Erma Johnson. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years, Curtis Perkins, Jr. of Leesville; son, Curtis Perkins of Leesville and fiancé, Samantha Gregory; daughter, Denise Perkins Gibson and husband, Marquis of New Port, North Carolina; step-son, Donald Perkins and wife, Trisha, of Woodworth;; step-daughter, Janice LaCaze and husband, Mike, of Natchitoches; one sister, Debra Lopez of Leesville; grandchildren, Kobe Gibson, Cayden Perkins, Brayden Perkins; step-grandchildren, Dustin and Alyssa Perkins and Kelsey and William LaCaze; nephew, Henry Lopez; nieces, Colleen Dowden and Victoria Lopez.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015 from 2pm until 9pm and Thursday, July 23rd, 2015 from 9am until time of the service at 1:30pm. Services will be held Thursday, July 23rd at 1:30pm in the chapel at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Rev. Hardy Estes will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Dewey Dowden, Henry Lopez, Paul Schmidt, Donald Perkins, Marshall Clifton and Kurt Clifton. Burial will follow in Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens, LA.
