Nathaniel Rubin Busby

Funeral services for Nathaniel Rubin Busby, 70, of Leesville, LA will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM at LaCamp United Pentecostal Church with Brother Greg Mortensen and Brother Ryan Daigle officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2016 from 4:00 PM until time of service at the LaCamp United Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Busby went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was born October 7, 1945 in Leesville to Ernest Nathaniel Busby and Ebbie Hagan Busby. He was a member of the LaCamp United Pentecostal church for the past 7 years. Mr. Busby worked a number of years for the State Forestry Department and later as a dozer operator for a land clearing company. He was a Pea farmer and also grew and sold watermelons. He loved his cows and working on his tractor. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Mr. Nathaniel Rubin Busby was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Nathaniel Busby and Ebbie Hagan Busby; brother, Roger Dale Busby.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dixie Lawler Busby; two sons, Ben Busby and wife, Marla and Richard Busby; one daughter Mary Busby Altenburger and husband, Patrick; two brothers, Ronald Lynn Busby and wife, Yvonne, Rodney Wayne Busby and wife, Elizabeth; one sister, Ersula Busby Craft and husband, Jerry; seven grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
