Patricia S. Powell Pogue

Services celebrating the life of Patricia S. Powell Pogue, 50, of Leesville will be held Monday, July 29, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville, LA. Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.

Patricia was born November 30, 1962 in Germany to James and Angela Vogel Simmons. Patricia passed from this life on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Patricia was of the Catholic faith. She loved her family and traveling. Patricia was a “die hard Saints fan”. She was employed at Fort Polk with the federal government for 24 years. She loved her two Rottweiler’s “Sassy and Holly”.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father: James Simmons and Aunt Elizabeth Vogel.

Patricia is survived by her husband: Robert Pogue of Leesville; mother: Angela Simmons of Shreveport; daughters: Jennifer Campbell (Michael) of Anacoco, Debra Ann Lewis of Belton, TX, Eive JoAnn Daniels (Jack) of Huntsville, TX, Sandra Dee Thurston (Paul) of Cadiz, KY, and Tina Johns (Stephen) of Midland, TX; grandchildren: Kaylee and Madison Midkiff of Anacoco.
